A reasonable period of time will be provided for the public and participants to review the proposals and provide comments.
Enwex is committed to studying and considering the feedback received before formalising the proposed changes.

July 2026: Market Consultation – Future Benchmark Version Update Cycle
As Enwex continues to expand its benchmark family across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and Australia, we are reviewing one important aspect of our benchmark governance: the future update frequency of Enwex Benchmark Versions.
Updating benchmark versions always involves balancing two important objectives: More frequent updates allow benchmark methodologies to reflect changes in installed renewable capacity more quickly, particularly in markets experiencing rapid growth in wind and solar generation.
At the same time, every new benchmark version may require implementation work for exchanges, clearing houses, brokers, trading firms, utilities, insurers and many other market participants.
As an independent benchmark administrator, Enwex is committed to maintaining a transparent governance process. Before determining future benchmark version cycles, we would therefore greatly appreciate your feedback in this document
